Construction
Cabinets are constructed from 3mm thick mild steel or grade 316 stainless steel with a white Epoxy coated / stove enamelled exterior.
Filters
The filters used are leak tested H.E.P.A filters providing a guaranteed minimum filtering efficiency of 99.999% for particles with an average diameter of 0.3 micron or larger when tested to BS3928 sodium chloride flame test. The filters are mounted on a double seal surface of the u-profile thus ensuring a hermatic seal between the filter and the cabinet. In normal use the filter has a service life of more than 5 years.
Safety
Bolt on sealing panels / glove ports give full operator protection during fumigation and when working under sterile conditions.
Lighting
Cabinets have large vision panels which give a clear internal view. External lighting gives a minimum 1000 lux on the work surface. |

Instrumentation
Fully protected instrumentation is located in a seperate cubicle, so that electrical servicing can take place without opening the cabinet. Air velocity and audio visual alarms indicate when the cabinets deviate from specification. Supply 220/240 volt 50Hz 13 amp.
Optional Items
Formalin vapouriser allows cabinet sterilisation under negative pressure.
Class III Optional Items
A choice of side entry doors, transfer ports or dunk tanks to allow instruments and materials to pass into the cabinet without breaking the integrity of the unit. |
