The Galway clinic is a community hospital, providing health care services, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The ethos of the Clinic is Roman Catholic however the Galway Clinic welcomes patients from all faiths and backgrounds. The clinic hosts in excess of 120 Physicians and Surgeons who have admitting and operating privileges and some also have onsite consultant suites within the clinic itself.

The Galway Clinic was a brand new healthcare facility and was the first to provide many new services for the first time to the West Coast of Ireland such as Robotic Surgery and PET/Ct Scans. With over 150 beds Galway Clinic provides an extensive range of medical and surgical services.

InterFocus was awarded the contract to design, manufacture and install a range of Hospital Furniture to the new Galway Clinic facility. Using the InterFocus i5 Fixed Furniture System, supporting TRESPA TopLab Base work surfaces we provided laboratory furniture solutions for all the lab facilities within the clinic. These areas included Haematology, Pathology, Oncology, an Autoclave and Wash Up Rooms.

The high-quality furniture provided was designed to provide a consistent level of support for patients and the medical team alike. The reliable and sterile furnishings are hugely important for the medical setting – ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care when visiting the Galway Clinic.

Providing all the furniture solutions for the laboratories of the clinic, InterFocus has been able to ensure that a consistent standards are achieved throughout the operation. The large scale of the clinic, and the significant number of medical professionals working out of the site, meant that many of the furnishings were required to be incredibly versatile, without compromising performance or quality. The furniture provided will help the clinic remain at the cutting edge of West Coast medical care.
